The gardens lead down to the lakeside and provide a pleasant walk, perfect for working up an appetite or for enjoying an after-dinner constitutional.
The rhododendron bushes blaze with colour in the summer months and an avenue of silver birch trees is striking in the autumn. The centrepiece of the gardens is a well-stocked pond, over which arches a rustic bridge.
The gardens also add splendour to the views from all superior rooms and provide a pretty backdrop for tea on the terrace.
Nunsmere Hall Hotel has been awarded 4 Red Stars and 2 Rosettes by the AA. Recently it was voted Cheshire Life Hotel of the Year. In the past, it has twice been voted County Restaurant of the Year by the Good Food Guide.
